"Seaglass Quilt Workshop"
July 13, 2022

Workshop Description:  In this workshop, Allie will teach you how to make a Seaglass art quilt. These small quilts are meant for display, but the same process can be used to make a larger quilt that is used.
Seaglass Quilts are a kind of improv quilt that uses scraps to make something new and beautifully unexpected. A combination of raw edge appliqué, free motion quilting, and a method of laying out the pieces in a specific way creates dynamic movement in a soothing piece.

There is no one pattern or template set. This class teaches the technique of how to make these quilts, and walks you through the entire process of design, layout, quilting, and finishing the quilt.
