Riverwalk Quilters’ mission is to foster the art of quilting through fellowship, education and mutual support. We share our time and talent through philanthropy projects and community outreach. We further our craft by inviting nationally known speakers to share their skills and love of quilting with the membership and community.
Our guild serves many functions by...• Providing outlets where the art of our quilts can be shown and shared at monthly meetings, an annual live Small Quilt Auction, and occasional quilt shows.
• Creating an environment of learning and inspiration by inviting well-known fiber artists to present programs and teach classes. Also, members' talents are shared through “school houses.” • Fostering fellowship through group activities (quilting bees) and social events (annual anniversary party). • Emphasizing philanthropic projects that benefit the less fortunate in our surrounding community. |
