At each monthly guild meeting, Philanthropy has a table set up for collection of completed projects. Also kits of fabric and supplies are available to take home. Of course, you are encouraged to provide your own fabric too thus adding your own creativity to the project. If you don’t feel like sewing on your own, find a friend and work on a project together. Involve your bee, Girl Scout troop, or if you are a teacher - involve your classroom. We all benefit and ultimately those in need will be comforted.

Annual Guild Sew-In
Once yearly, a quilt Sew-In is held. At this event members bring fabric, thread, sewing machines and cutting implements to sew the evening away in a special effort to make items for children and needy adults. Philanthropy also has fabric, supplies and instructions available during the Sew-In. This is a fun event and comes as close to the old fashioned “Quilting Bee” as it develops friendships among the members as well as items for charity.
