Project 15 - Ronnie Van Overberghe

Back to Projects
I always enjoyed seeing Scottie Quilts that others  made. When red and black plaid fabric became popular, I decided to make a Scottie Throw.  It takes me forever to finish a project, but when it was finished ,rather than keeping it, I gave it to a Special Person as a birthday gift.  I had extra fabric left so I started another one.  It took me a while to finish it, but Bob the Quilter finally got it.   It was difficult for me to hand sew the Cuddle binding to the Cuddle backing so part way through it became a notorious UFO. The Challenge became the incentive to take it out of the cedar chest, complete the hand sewing and submit it.  No longer a notorious UFO, now a cuddly Scottie Quilted Throw!
