Philanthropy Sew-In 2022

The philanthropy Sew-In will be April 12, 2022 at Knox Presbyterian Church located at 1105 Catalpa, Naperville Illinois.  All members are invited to the annual Sew-In hosted by the philanthropy committee.  The Sew-In is an opportunity for the guild members to contribute their time and materials to complete a project to be distributed to the community. This year's project is a coin quilt pattern that will be made in several sizes.  We have over a dozen organizations that the guild contributes to throughout the year.  Details of the project and location details of the meeting can be found in the upcoming newsletter.  Any questions and suggestions are welcome.  Please contact Judy Long or Terri Hayes through the guild directory or the website contact list.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone.
Here are some examples.…

Also, there are many samples and directions on pintrest.

Measurements given below are cut sizes and final sizes are approximate.  Do not worry if your quilt measures slightly differently.  The quilts are scrappy.  The guild is happy to provide batting, backing and binding.  Of course, if you wish to finish a quilt on your own, your donation is greatly appreciated, too.

We hope to see everyone soon.
Happy quilting,
Terri and Judy.
