Denise Havlan
“Quilting Journey”
Nov 8, 2016
Denise began her quilting career in 1989. Her quilts focus primarily on representational subject matter such as people, animals, landscapes, etc. The trunk show that will be presented with her lecture will take us through a brief but inclusive history of the work from her beginnings to the award winning quilts of today.
The “Nesters” workshop will introduce students to many of Denise’s techniques in a small format resulting in a wonderful realistic scene. Denise welcomes beginners to advanced students. General sewing skills (feed dogs up and down) and a machine in good working order are required. Info on kits and supply lists are to follow.
