Every other year in conjunction with the bi-annual Gathering, the guild raffles off a quilt made by members.
The 2009 quilt is entitled
"Bloom Where You Are Planted". It measures 85" X 85" (Click image to enlarge).
It was pieced and hand appliqued by members of the guild. Julie Karlak did the beautiful, original design, machine quilting on a long arm machine.
The Riverwalk Quilters Guild thanks all members who participated in its construction and feels that they can be justly proud of their work.
Tickets for the raffle quilt will go on sale in Naperville in December. The cost will be $1 each or six for $5.
