Guest Speaker – Ami Simms. Her lecture will be on "Living with Quilts: a Survival Guide". She is a well-known author, lecturer, and founder of the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative. She has made more than 200 quilts, of varying sizes, in both traditional and contemporary designs, both hand and machine quilted. Instead of a quilt show, Riverwalk Quilters Guild sponsors a quilt gathering every other year. It is an all day event with lots of quilt related activities!
