2026 Riverwalk Quilt Guild Challenge

General Information and Rules:
1. The Challenge opens January 13th of 2026 to RQG members and completes June 9. 2026.
2. There is a $5 entry fee refundable if challenge is completed. Only one entry per person.
3. To enter, fill in a USA 250th Anniversary Challenge form and return to the Special Events Team. Use the button at the top of the page to download the form.
4. Prizes will be awarded. Voting for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes will take place at the June Guild meeting by those in attendance. One vote per entry.
5. Make a quilt/wall hanging using USA 250th Anniversary theme.
6. Any style may be used: traditional, modern, contemporary, art.
7. Finished quilt should be smaller than 30 inches square.
8. The quilt must be completely finished (quilts must have two layers of cloth filled with batting and be quilted or tied)
9. Attach a sleeve on the back.
10. Include a label on the back with your name and phone number.
11. You may add any embellishments.
12. Winner need not be present to win.
And.......feel free to post a picture on our guild’s facebook page with the hashtag, #RQG2026QuiltChallenge.
