Lecture Description: Linda will share her experiences and artwork as a certified Laura Heine collage instructor. She feels strongly that exploring creative arts creates a sense of satisfaction and contributes to mental health, and she will share what she has learned from seeing her students thrive by practicing their craft.
About Linda: Linda learned to sew at the Chicago Park District when she was 10 years old and has been sewing ever since. She has made many wedding dresses, prom dresses, veils, and most of her professional clothing while teaching for over 30 years. In retirement, Linda continues to teach college quilting throughout Illinois and she enjoys hosting quilters at Seamless Getaways, a quilting retreat she owns and operates in Forest, IL.
