Lecture Description:  Karen will share her two favorite approaches to playing with fabrics: Fabric collage (Happy Villages) and layered/topstitching (Accidental Landscapes). This lighthearted and informative presentation will show how her techniques evolved and will inspire you to try fabric collage or layered/topstitching in your own creations.

About Karen: Karen feels compelled to create; creating gives her energy that she wants to share with others.  Fabric is her medium of choice because she loves the feel and texture of it. Nature inspires her work and she describes her work as happy and upbeat, concentrating on the positive and whimsical side of life.
