About Celeste and Susan: Celeste and Susan Akre are a mother-daughter duo who have been quilting together for more than 20 years. They teach a variety of classes such as hand stitching, machine embroidery, Quiltworx paper piecing, embroidery software, AccuQuilt, and more! They formed their own quilting company, Happy Akres, and run retreats and teach classes and workshops all over the country. Aside from quilting, Celeste is an avid gardener and cyclist. She also enjoys spending time with her four grandkids.
